Chennai: A Singapore-bound Emirates airlines flight from Dubai, with 273 passengers on board, made an emergency landing at the Chennai airport on Thursday after a passenger complained of chest pain.
Airport sources said after a passenger, an Australian National, complained of chest pain, contacted with the authorities following which permission was given for emergency landing in the early hours.
Emergency medical teams, who were in stand by, attended the patient and was later rushed to a private hospital, the sources said.
