Lucknow: Light fog in north India hit air and rail traffic in the city on Wednesday. Eight flights arrived and took off behind schedule, while over 35 trains got delayed.
While flights recorded a maximum delay of three hours, the waiting time for railway passengers was even more, with trains running late by an average of eight hours.
Flights that arried late at Amausi airport were CD691 Alliance air Jaipur-Lucknow (3 hours), AI9691 Jaipur-Lucknow Air India (3 hours), 6E844 Kolkata-Lucknow (2 hours), Delhi-Lucknow 6E943 IndiGo Airlines (2 hours), Bengaluru-Lucknow 6E847 IndiGo Airlines (2 hours) and Ahmedabad-Lucknow 6E244 IndiGo Airlines (1 hour).
Flights Lucknow-Hyderbad 6E844 IndiGo Airlines and Lucknow-Delhi 6E306 IndiGo Airlines took off two hours behind schedule.
