GoAir Deboards Female Passenger at Patna Airport After She Suffers an Asthmatic Attack on Board

Patna: Budget carrier GoAir on Sunday deboarded a female passenger from its flight (G8-586) to Mumbai after she was unable to breathe and was found to be gasping on her seat. According to reports, the incident took place minutes before the flight was to take off from the Jay Prakash Narayan International (JPNI) airport in Patna. According to a Hindustan Times report, the young girl, Swati Singh, was deboarded on medical grounds. The flight which was originally scheduled to leave from JPNI at 2 pm, was delayed by two hours. The report informs that Singh is an MBBS final year student at the DY Patil Medical College in Mumbai. The airline crew informed that Singh reportedly suffered a bronchial asthmatic attack on board. Reports inform that the incident took place when the doors of the aircraft were to be shut before take-off. As soon as the incident was reported, the pilots immediately alerted the air traffic control (ATC) of the JPNI airport and deboarded the girl.
