Jharkhand Cabinet gives nod to Dhalbhumgarh airport project

Ranchi: Jharkhand Cabinet Thursday gave approval to a proposal for the development of airports in the state including the Dhalbhumgarh airport. Under the proposal, a Joint Venture would be entered by the government with the Airport Authority of India through a Memorandum of Understanding for this purpose.

In another major decision, the Cabinet announced a bonus of Rs 150 per quintal on paddy, over the Centre’s minimum support price of Rs 1,750 for Kharif cropsfor 2018-19.

The Centre has already announced a minimum support price of Rs 1,750 per quintal of paddy.

A total Rs 52 crore has been approved by the Cabinet, presided by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, in this connection, an official release said here.
