Preparations on for Aero India 2019

With less than 45 days to go for the Aero India 2019, Indian Air Force (IAF) Officials will meet on January 10 here to work out the modalities of the five-day air show, which is to be held at the Air Force Station Yelahanka between February 23 and 24.
Sources said that IAF officials under the aegis of the Training Command to chart out various issues
pertaining to the air show. “Details regarding arrangements to be made, logistics, security, arrangements for air display etc would be discussed during the meeting,” said sources.
Sources added that civic officials would not be part of this meeting. However, later on IAF along Ministry of Defence Officials would be meeting the civic and police authorities to discuss on the infrastructure and traffic arrangements that would be made for the air show. Five Day Five Themes
The organisers of the air show have announced that each day of the air show would have a special theme. Day one would be Inaugural Day, the theme for Day two and three is Start-up Day and Technology Day. Day four would be Women’s Day and Day five Public Day.
The very popular Scandinavian Airshow aerobatic team from Sweden which has been part of the last two editions of the Aero India will not be taking part this year.
