3 women from Nepal held at RGIA over fake NOC

Hyderabad: Three women from Nepal were arrested by the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police on Friday when they tried to board an Air India flight to Dubai on a tourist visa for employment. Police said the trio was in possession of a fake no-objection certificate (NOC) claiming that it was issued by the Nepal embassy.
The arrested women were identified as Kandel Tika Kumari, Syangtan Nir Maya and Darji Babita. “During checking, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) sleuths found that the three women were in possession of documents pertaining to employment in Dubai. This amounts to suppression of information,’’ deputy commissioner of police (Shamshabad) Prakash Reddy told STOI.
The Nepal passports they had with them had tourist visa stamped. In the first information report, the RGIA police officials said that “the three women were offloaded since they were holding fake NOC of Nepal embassy.”
