Vadodara: A Delhi-bound Indigo flight got delayed for more than an hour on Monday morning causing a lot of inconvenience to passengers at the Vadodara airport.
A couple of passengers informed TOI that they went through a harrowing experience at the airport as the staff of the private airline did not provide any information related to the exact reason for the delay even as those who had already undergone security check and were waiting for boarding the flight did not have any access to basic amenities like washroom and drinking water.
“Flight 6E 2591 was supposed to depart from Vadodara at 7.10 am and land at Delhi at 8.40 am but the flight itself reached at Vadodara airport at around 8.20 am and it was only at around 11.40 am that we landed at Delhi,” said Rakesh Gosai, a traveller from Vadodara.
“To the constant inquiries that travellers like me were making, the only response we got was that that there is a technical problem because of which the flight had got delayed,” he said.
