Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport to have a sleeping zone by April

Lengthy delays and overlays on your flight through the Indore airport and nowhere to stay? You will now be able to sleep at the airport itself, as the Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in Indore is getting its own sleeping zone.
Often passenger who have connecting flights face long overlays or delays, wherein they have to stay at the airport for long uncomfortable hours. Even the local passenger who live far off and have reached airport ahead of time face the issue of being uncomfortable during their wait.
To do away with the issue, Indore airport is finally going to have a sleeping zone similar to the ones at other International airports.

An area of 20 square meters has already been designated for the sleeping zone and around 25 to 30 passengers can find recluse here. The area will not remain exclusive to the passengers, the airport staff and aviation crew can also sleep off their exhaustion at the sleeping zone. The best part is that the sleeping zone would be accessible for a small sum ?200 rupees per hour, so if you feel like having a quick nap you would have to pay less than a large coke or a small pizza.

Airport director, Aryama Sanlay was quoted saying that often passengers have to come in early for their flights and if their flight gets late because of some issue, it becomes very difficult for the passengers to wait through the night without having any kind of rest. “We have started preparing the sleeping zone, keeping other international airports as our standard and we’re hoping that the zone would be ready by March end or latest by April, ” she said.
