Industry urges Indigo for international operations from Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: India’s largest airline – Indigo has been requested to consider more flights from the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha capital and to actively look at the regulatory and operational feasibility of the same.

A two-member delegation comprising Debashish Patnaik, Hospitality Entrepreneur & President TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), and Priyadarshee Panigrahi, senior member of the Non Resident Odia community of United Arab Emirates (UAE), met Willy Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, Indigo Airlines and Michael Anthony Swiatek, Chief Planning Officer – Network Planning, Indigo Airlines, in Delhi with the specific objective of convincing the top management of Indigo to increase more connections and start international operations from Bhubaneswar.
