No flights cancelled only delay in flying time, says Air India

New Delhi: State-owned carrier Air India on Wednesday claimed that the airline has not cancelled any flights but has only increased the flying time in view of closure of air space amid high tension between India and Pakistan.
For the purpose, they have drawn up plans to avoid any exigency with minimal delay and keeping passengers’ safety and security on priority, the airline said in a statement here.
“In view of prevailing situation regarding closure of air space, we would like to inform our esteemed passengers that astute route planning for our long and medium haul flights have been drawn up by our operations in preparedness of any exigency, including closure of air space so that flights operate with minimal delay according top priority to safety and security,” it said.
