Star Air starts Belagavi-B’luru flights

Belagavi: Sanjay Ghodavat Group which launched its Star Air services between Belagavi and Bengaluru on Monday is planning to establish a flying school in the city.
The group’s chairman Sanjay Ghodavat made the announcement at Sambra Airport here on Monday. The flight to Bengaluru was launched by handing over a boarding pass to Pranav Desai, the first passenger.

Ghodavat said Star Air has got slots to 11 destinations from Belagavi including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, Jodhpur etc., under Udan scheme and company will shortly launch services to all those destinations based on priority starting with Ahmedabad.

Star Air managing director Captain Simran Singh Tiwana said the Airport Authority of India has allotted land for a hangar at Sambra airport to park their aircraft.
