Vadodara airport’s national rank jumps to four

Vadodara : Vadodara airport has figured at second position in western region in the customer satisfaction index (CSI) as per a survey conducted by a private agency on behalf of the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

Also, the airport has also been listed at fourth position at all-India level in the survey of 51 airports done between July and December 2018.

In terms of all-India position, the airport’s ranking has improved from 11th position last year. Registering 4.78 score on the scale out of five, this year, Vadodara airport has been adjudged fourth behind Raipur, Trichy and Udaipur.

“It is because of our continuous efforts of improving customer service and environment at the airport that we have been ranked second best in the western region,” said airport director Charan Singh.
The survey is carried out on 40 to 50 parameters including cleanliness and services among others and feedback is taken from customers, airlines and passengers. The western region includes airports located in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
