Down with poor financial health, Jet Airways is now offering its Jet Privilege members life and health covers as the career is desperately trying various ways to generate additional revenues to sustain. For this purpose, Jet has tied up with HDFC Life and Star Health Insurance to provide life insurance and health insurance covers, respectively.
Moreover, the members may avail a life insurance cover up to Rs 75 lakh and a health insurance cover up to Rs 15 lakh without any pre-policy medical checkup. Insured persons will get the insurance cover for 365 days, which is not limited to just travel periods through the airline.
The offers are only for the Jet Privilege members and the airline claims that the process is completely hassle-free as the application process will be completed online and there is no requirement of any paper work.
In association with HDFC Life, as a master policyholder, Jet Privilege offers HDFC Life Group Term Insurance. The members may bring financial stability in their life by availing the insurance that provides cover up to 60 years of age.
The life cover will start from the first day of getting the insurance, but in case of death by suicide within 12 months of getting the cover, the nominee will be entitled to get back 80 per cent of the premium paid.
