The GMR Hyderabad International Airport on Saturday commissioned the Interim Domestic Arrivals
Terminal (IDAT).
SpiceJet SG 468 airline passengers flying from Tirupati to Hyderabad were the first to get an experience of the new facility. The commissioning coincided with the 11th anniversary of the opening of the Hyderabad International Airport.
Spread across about 4,000 sq.mt in the air-side, east of the existing Passenger Terminal Building (PTB), the IDAT is an exclusive Domestic Baggage Reclaim Concourse primarily serving the passengers arriving on aircraft parked on remote stands.
