Air India crew delays flight to Mumbai for elderly passenger. Their reason wins the day

New Delhi: Flights getting delayed is a common phenomenon and most of the onboard flight passengers generally abuse the flight or bring their incompetence to light via social media.

But so was not the case for an early morning Air India flight on March 31, 2019 that was flying from Delhi to Bombay. The flight was getting delayed because an elderly woman had forgotten her passport bag.

Senior journalist, Vir Sanghvi too was incidentally on the same flight and took to his official Twitter to praise the airline and their crew.

He tweeted, "On an airindiain flight. Ready to take off but an elderly passenger just realised she forgot her passport bag at security. Annoying to wait but heartwarming to see the staff run back to look all over for it. They found it. An airline with a heart. Could have been your mom or mine"
The delay was caused because an elderly woman left her passport bag at the security and the crew of the flight was helping the woman find her bag. In the end, they were able to find the bag and returned it to the woman.

This incident is hitting Twitterati right in the feels and people are sharing their great experiences with the national carrier.
A lot of prior Air India passengers shared their heart warming stories on the Twitter thread.
