Visakhapatnam: With the withdrawal of Jet Airways Visakhapatnam to Mumbai flight a few days ago, Air India has agreed to provide flight services between Visakhapatnam and Mumbai from May 15, 2019, according to sources.
From Monday to Friday, Air India flight, AI652 will depart at 07:00 pm from Mumbai and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 08:50 pm. Flight number AI653 will depart from Visakhapatnam at 09.30 pm and land in Mumbai at 11:20 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, Air India flight, AI652 will leave Mumbai at 09.10 pm and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 11:00 pm. Flight number AI653 will depart from Visakhapatnam at 11.30 pm and reach Mumbai at 01.20 am.
The Andhra Pradesh Air Travelers Association (APATA) representatives had met Captain Amitab Singh, director commercial and board member, Air India Limited in Mumbai in January along with Daggubati Purandeswari, independent director, Air India Ltd and had requested them to operate a late night flight to Mumbai and Delhi from Visakhapatnam.
