New Delhi: A flier has made a shocking claim of receiving a fake ticket as an alternative from Goibibo and Jet Airways after her Jet Airways flight was canceled two months after she booked the Delhi-Vancouver ticket.
Sharing details of her ordeal, she said, "I've had the most harrowing last 24 hours courtesy Jet Airways and GoIbibo. I had made a flight booking with jet airways around two months ago, way before this entire mess with Jet Airways had started. I kept calling Jet Airways endlessly and failingly and the airways did not care to respond to any of the calls messages and emails that I had sent to them asking them for an alternate flight because it was really urgent and critical for me to reach my destination. I was going from Delhi to Vancouver. And with the flight cancellation, Jet Airways did not respond. I tried to get in touch with Goibibo because I had booked my ticket through Goibibo."
Accusing Goibio of being irresponsible, she said that she had to book an alternate flight on her own. "GoIbibo was also extremely irresponsive to this entire process. They kept sharing alternates with me. I kept informing them that okay whatever, quickest alternate that you can find me, please just book it right away. They sent me an alternate and after three days they tell me that the ticket for the alternate flight was sold out. That kept happening for about two weeks. That's when I found out an alternate on my own and I literally requested and begged them that please book that alternate for me. That was a British Airways flight, way cheaper than the alternates they were sharing with me."
