Dubai-bound SpiceJet flight SG 51 took off from Pune airport after a delay of over 14 hours due to a "technical issue" leaving nearly 180 passengers stranded at the airport.
Several passengers complained on social media platform Twitter of having to sit in the aircraft for hours.
The massive delay in departure of the flight from Pune also led to passengers stranded at the Dubai airport.
The flight, which was to depart at 8:00 PM on Sunday, finally departed at 10:30 AM on Monday.
