Hyderabad: Customs Officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shashabad here on Sunday seized 1,164.90 kgs of gold, worth about Rs 36, 99,782 from an air passenger.
'The gold was seized in a form of paste from the passenger who arrived from Doha by Flight No 6E1714,' a statement here said.
The gold past weighing 1,900 grams concealed in a cloth tied over his undergarments.
The passenger was intercepted while passing through green channel.
