Kakinada: The accused in the case relating to the vain bid on the life of YSRCP
Chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam airport seven months ago which is popularly
known as `Kodi-Katti case-Janupalli Srinivas alias Srinu has been released on Bail from the
central prison Rajahmundry on Saturday.
He told media persons that he was still an ardent follower and admirer of Jaganmohanreddy and what happened on that fateful day at airport was purely accidental. He said he approached Jagan only for taking a selfie with him and not have any intention of attacking him.
`I did not make any attempt to kill Jagan .I did not have any connection what so ever with the Telugu Desam party . I am ready to face even the Norco analysis test to prove my innocence ’he added. Later accompanied by his brother and advocate, he left for his native village Thane Lanka near Mummidivaram.
