Bhopal-Pune flight from May 30

Bhopal: There’s some good news coming for flyers long awaiting a Bhopal-Pune flight. Air India on Monday announced that it will start a Delhi-Pune flight enroute Bhoapl from May 30.
According to the schedule, flight AI 0481 will take-off from Delhi at 8.45am to reach Bhopal at 10.15 am. After a halt of 30 minutes, it will fly again to reach Pune at 12.05pm. From Pune, flight AI 0482 will fly at 12.35pm to reach Bhopal at 2pm. From Bhopal it will fly at 2.20pm, to reach Delhi airport at 4pm.
Air India had launched Bhopal-Pune flight in 2016. However, after 6 months, it was discontinued citing some technical issues. Since then, despite the strong demand, flights remained elusive on the route.
Earlier, the flight between Bhopal-Pune was routed through Raipur.
Recently, SpiceJet had also started a Bhopal-Pune flight, but that was also discontinued after a week. Since then, flyers running online campaign Support Bhopal For Better Air Connectivity (have been raising several demands on social media.
