Chennai: Security has been beefed up at Chennai airport after the airport telephone exchange received a bomb threat on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources said the threat call was received at 1.30pm.
"The caller informed that there would be a blast but did not specify when," said a senior Airports Authority of India official.
