Passenger held with 5 live rounds at Delhi IGI airport

New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Wednesday detected five live cartridges of .32mm caliber arms from the hand baggage of passenger at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport.
The passenger later identified as Amit Chaudhary was bound to travel to Surat by a scheduled airlines.
At around 0454 hrs on May 1, during pre-embarkation security check at Security Hold Area of Terminal -2, a CISF personnel detected those cartridges when his bag was scanned.
The passenger Amit Chaudhary, on inquiry, could not present any valid document against the
possession on those live rounds.
Later, the passenger along-with the seized live rounds was handed over to Delhi Police for further legal action in the matter.
