NCC cadets manage traffic at airport

Amritsar: NCC cadets (air wing) of DAV College conducted a four-day traffic awareness and management activity to streamline traffic pattern at Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport by educating drivers for pick and drop facility in the circular area and proper parking of vehicles.
With the initiative taken by the Amritsar Vikas Manch (AVM) and inspiration of Yogesh Kamra, secretary AVM, a team of 25 NCC cadets participated and performed this activity. NCC cadets also helped the passengers in providing them trolleys which are in lesser number now due to increase in passenger traffic at the airport.

On the concluding day, Airport Director Manoj Chansoria thanked college management, students, Amritsar Vikas Manch and Fly Amritsar Initiative for its efforts. Airport director honoured all the cadets and Wing Commander professor Lalit Bhardwaj with certificate of voluntary service at the airport.
