New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a six-month-old baby girl died aboard a flight en route to Delhi. The family was travelling from Patna to Delhi on flight number SG 8481 (SpiceJet) for the purpose of medical treatment of the girl, identified as Rachita Kumari.
Her family hails from Ninga village in Begusarai district’s Barauni block of Bihar.
Rachita was suffering from congenital heart disease and had a small hole in her heart. She was undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
Her father Rajendra Rajan and mother Dimple, who accompanied her, suspected no foul play, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), IGI Airport, Sanjay Bhatia.
