The Cyberabad police detained actor Shivaji at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Alanda media case on Wednesday.
Earlier, he has been issued a lookout notice in the same case. The immigration officials alerted the police after noticing the actor at the airport who was trying to go to the US.
The Cyberabad Cyber Crime police rushed to the airport and took him into custody. He may be asked to appear before the police on May 11 as part of the investigation. The Hyderabad police registered a case against Shivaji and former Tv9 CEO Raviprakash for their involvement in a forgery case.
