Air India temporarily bans ‘Zamzam’ cans on these flights

Hyderabad: Air India has imposed a temporary ban on the transportation of ‘Zamzam’ cans on its flights.
This has created panic among the Keralite and Hyderabadi Haj Passengers. Various comments are being posted on social media.
Regional Manager of Air India, Western Region, Mr. R. Prabhuchandran informed that Air India engaged Boeing 737 instead of A-320 planes for Haj pilgrims traveling from Jeddah to Hyderabad and Jeddah to Cochin. Since Boeing 737 is a plane of lesser capacity, there were only two options left: either to reduce the number of passengers or minimize weight. This has led to imposing a temporary ban on the transportation of ‘Zamzam’ cans on the flights.
