British Airways to add 3 daily flights between Mumbai and London from next summer

New Delhi: British Airways is now adding India flights, to fill in the gap created by Jet Airways’ demise. From this summer, BA added four additional flights to its existing schedule from Mumbai to London, increasing the weekly total from 14 to 18 flights a week. Any day from next summer, it will have three daily flights between London and Mumbai.

The airline currently operates 49 flights a week from five cities in India, with a double daily from Mumbai and Delhi and a daily service from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The increase will take BA’s weekly schedule from 49 to 56 flights from India to the UK. The daily flights will be operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft with four-cabin configuration — first, club world, world traveller plus and world traveller.
