Tweeple flood AAI with complaints

Chennai: Twitter users seem to be taking the city airport to task almost everyday and Airports Authority of India (AAI) is struggling to handle the complaints.
Chennai airport’s social media account is flooded with complaints from passengers about poor amenities. These range from delayed delivery of baggage, long wait for cabs, absence of book and food stalls, poorly maintained toilets, lack of signage and others.
One passenger tweeted that the toilets were dirty but the janitor was busy playing sudoku. Another posted a photo of bottles and cups strewn under seats and mentioned that housekeeping staff were not to be seen at the airport.
AAI which has been instructed to create a positive image among passengers, have been responding to all complaints diligently. But, the conditions remain the same more or less. Though a few complaints have received proactive responses requesting additional details, in many cases AAI gives a standard response that concerned authorities will be notified.
