Bengaluru: Chief minister BS Yediyurappa doled out an Independence Day bonanza for the people of his home-district Shivamogga.
In a one-man cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Yediyurappa approved a proposal to develop a greenfield airport at Shivamogga at an estimated cost of Rs 38 crore. Chief secretary and principal secretaries of other departments attended the meeting.
