Ahmedabad: Passengers travelling from Ahmedabad to Dubai via SpiceJet flight, SG-15, on Friday, were tired and frustrated as their flight was delayed by over two hours. Well-placed sources confirmed that due to operational reasons, the flight was delayed by 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Arvind Thakkar, a passenger aboard the flight said, “There was no prior intimation about the flight being delayed. It was scheduled to depart at 5.40pm and when I reached the airport, there was no concrete response from the airline’s ground staff regarding the likelihood of the flight’s departure.”
Apart from the Dubai-bound flight, the departure of SpiceJet flight to Mumbai, SG-636 was delayed by an hour due to late arrival of incoming flight while another SpiceJet flight to Jaipur, SG-2988, was delayed by an hour and 50 minutes due to operational reasons.
