IOC’s Sanjiv Singh: Conversations with Air India on payment of dues are ongoing

Fuel supply to Air India was recently stopped at six airports. Sanjiv Singh, chairman and managing director of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) spoke to CNBC-TV18 regarding the company's position in supplying fuel to the national carrier despite an outstanding due of Rs 2,850 crore.

“Air India is a public sector and we have been extending credit as per commercial terms and including interest outstanding the total due maybe close to Rs 2,850 crore,” said Singh.

“We are supplying to Air India barring six airports where we have more or less stopped except for one flight to Lakshadweep from Kochi which we are still fuelling but the outstanding still remains,” he added.
