Aurangabad: Budget airline operator Spicejet has announced morning and evening flights connecting Aurangabad and Delhi that will start flying from October 8. Trujet’s Ahmedabad-Aurangabad flight will start to operate from September 1. The bookings for the new flights have now begun.
Aurangabad airport director D G Salve said Spicejet has communicated to them that its flights will start from October 8. “SpiceJet’s Delhi - Aurangabad - Delhi direct flight is open for sale on their website. The flight bookings will be uploaded on the computer reservation systems and all GDS Global Distribution Systems and Online Travel Agents (OTAs) soon,” he said.
On October 8, the Delhi-Aurangabad flight will start at 6am and reach Aurangabad at 7.50am and the Aurangabad-Delhi flight will start at 8.20 am and reach Delhi at 10.20am, the airport director informed.
Trujet has announced direct air connectivity between Aurangabad and Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The flights will be operated thrice a week from September 1 — on Sunday, Monday and Friday. The flights will start from Ahmedabad at 4.10pm and arrive at Aurangabad at 5.35 pm. On Sunday, Monday and Friday the flights will start from Aurangabad at 6 pm and reach Ahmedabad at 7.25pm.
