Jaipur: Following a recent JeM letter threatening to blow up major railway stations and temples in the country, a mock drill was held by CISF at the Jaipur International Airport on Tuesday.
Though airports were not mentioned in the letter, officials are taking precautionary measures.
“The drill was essentially a protocol which we follow in case something suspicious or hazardous is found in the passengers’ luggage. Mock drills are done regularly so we are prepared for all kinds of eventualities. For this particular kind of drill, airport evacuation is not required,” a CISF official told TOI.
