New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force on Thursday presented awards to the best airport units of the force under all its 61 airports and adjudged Delhi airport as the best in the first category. Kolkata airport was adjudged the best in the second category.
A competition for the award of best aviation security group (ASG) in infrastructure improvement was organised from April 15 to July 15 to select the best airport units of CISF. The airports were divided into two categories with seven joint ventures in the first category - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Nagpur and Chandigarh. In the second category, 53 airports were placed that fell under AAI.
