A girl from Tamil Nadu’s Hosur has filed a grievance after gold and diamond jewelry price almost Rs 10 lakh was stolen from her check-in baggage.
Shanti Soni, 40, was flying to Jodhpur from Kempegowda Worldwide Airport in Bengaluru through Delhi on August 22, when one among her baggage was damaged open and the jewelry was stolen. She found the theft solely upon reaching Jodhpur.
Soni filed an FIR with the Jodhpur police however the grievance was forwarded to the Bengaluru police. The town police, after reviewing the surveillance footage at KIA, responded that the jewelry was not stolen from Bengaluru airport.
