Vijayawada: Air India has decided to restore its Alliance Air flights to Andhra Pradesh. The airline’s chairman and managing director Ashwani Lohani said. this on Tuesday
Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, had been operating daily Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada-Tirupati flights till July 19. However, the flights had to be withdrawn because they were not meeting their cost of operations, Lohani said this in a letter to V Vijayasai Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP and YSRC’s parliamentary party leader.
Lohani added that Alliance Air has decided to restore a daily ATR flight from October 1 at the request of the Andhra Pradesh government, on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam route.
