Indore: Shirdi, Jaipur, Ajmer and Belagavi (Karnataka) are the four new domestic destinations that Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport will offer flyers under the winter schedule approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), said airport officials on Thursday
Four new airlines are also expected to launch flight operations to and from Indore airport in this winter schedule. Vistara, Star Air, Air Deccan and Go Air would be starting flight operations on different routes. For Ahmedabad, number of flights has gone up to eight departures in a day from one flight being operated by TruJet currenrtly. Go Air and Indigo will be starting three and one flights on this route respectively. TruJet would also increase flight on this route.
Vistara will be starting two flights between Indore and Delhi including one during evening hours. Star Air would operate a direct flight from Belagavi (Karnataka) to Indore and one flight between Indore-Kishangarh (Ajmer). Air Deccan is also expected to start flight between Indore and Ahmedabad in this winter schedule. Airport officials said that the number of flights would go up to 110 in this new winter schedule, which will become effective from October 27 to March 28, 2020.
