Kalaburgi airport gets Aerodrome Licence

Kalaburagi: Kalaburgi airport has got Aerodrome Licence from Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and is likely to commence operation in November, Kalaburgi Deputy commissioner B Sharat said here on Thursday.
The Kalaburagi airport which spread over 742 acres , build at a cost of Rs 175.57 crores that aims to connect one of the four divisional headquarters of Karnataka with the rest of the country is likely to commence operations in November. The state government had planned to inaugurate the airport on any time in November.
The press note released by the Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner B Sharat said that the Officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) visited the airport in October and verified all.
