Kolkata: Goa Chief Minister
Pramod Sawant expects that the proposed
international airport at Mopa will be
functional by 2022.
He announced from the podium of a full house Goa International Travel Mart (GITM) at Taleigao, Goa this week.
The state presently has only one international airport at Dabolim which is military and civil dualuse airfield. But work on the air terminal has been temporarily stalled following a Supreme Court order passed earlier this year.
