Mumbai: Iranian woman held for forging Greek passport

Mumbai: Police arrested a 31-year-old Iranian national after she was allegedly found with two foreign passports, one from Iran and the other from Greece.
Lufthansa Airline crew stopped Naeimeh Mohammadzadeh from taking the Mumbai-Frankfurt flight on October 20. Sahar police registered a case on October 21 and the Mumbai crime branch is conducting further probe Mohammadzadeh who hails from Tabriz in Iran got the Greece passport and managed to clear the security and immigration check there. “Mohammadzadeh flew to Chennai after she got evisa to travel to India on the Greece passport. Two days ago, she came to Mumbai and was supposed to fly to Frankfurt when she was stopped,” said a police officer. Police said immigration officials got suspicious after she claimed she was a Greece national. They frisked her bag and found another passport showing her as an Iranian national.
