Hisar: The air shuttle service between Hisar and Chandigarh has come to a halt. Flights are not operating for around two weeks and there is no message about resumption of service.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated the air shuttle service on September 3. Two flights a day were planned initially, which got restricted to one daily flight five days a week. There was no flight on Saturdays and Sundays. The fare was Rs 1,674 for a one-way trip.
A travel agent confirmed that flights were not operating for about two weeks. The agent said the airline cited technical reasons for grounding the service and there was no word on resuming the flight.
