Bhopal: Next time one flies out of Raja Bhoj airport Bhopal, check out on replicas of important tourist destinations. Airport authorities have decided to put up replicas of famous tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh in the airport premises and started the initiative by installing a replica of the famous Sanchi Stupa.
Director, Bhopal airport, Anil Vikram said it is an initiative to make the travelers learn about the important destinations of MP. “It is an 8 X 6 feet replica placed on the airport premises. We have put a board near the replica where basic information about Sanchi Stupa is provided,” said Vikram.
Regional executive director (Western region), Airports Authority of India, SG Chandramaulli dedicated the replica to the public on Thursday through video conferencing.
