SAD demands renaming of Delhi's IGI Airport after Guru Nanak Dev

Patiala: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) senior vice-president and former member of parliament Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra has demanded that the Indira Gandhi International Airport should be renamed as Sri Guru Nanak International Airport to offer a befitting tribute to Guru Nanak Dev during his 550th birth anniversary celebrations.
He said he has written a letter to prime minister Narendra Modi on this matter. He said people landing in India from around the globe will take on the spirit of the Guru Sahib and the doctrine and message that he had given to the mankind.
