Vistara has added Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala to its domestic network. Starting from November 9, 2019, India’s full-service carrier will operate direct flights between New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. The capital city of Kerala is Vistara’s second destination in the state after Kochi and the 33rd destination overall.
Expressing his views on this new service, Vinod Kannan, chief strategy officer, Vistara, said, “Kerala continues to witness exponential growth in business, industries and tourism and it has now also emerged as one of India’s top start-up destinations too. We are delighted to further strengthen our presence in Kerala with operations in Thiruvananthapuram, another important gateway to the state. This is also in alignment with our network strategy given the strong demand for both business as well as leisure travel.”
In the last couple of months, the Tata-SIA airline has been significantly expanded its domestic as well as international connectivity. On the international front, Vistara has commenced operations on Bangkok-Delhi, Mumbai-Dubai and Delhi-Singapore sector.
