Hyderabad: A woman passenger has been reported missing from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport premises, where she arrived 10 days ago.
The woman, Laxmi Bhavani (23) boarded a flight from Muscat to India on October 9 and reached the RGIA on the morning of October 10. According to the police, after reaching Hyderabad, Bhavani did not go to her brother Satish’s house, where she was supposed to go. Her family’s efforts to contact her over mobile phone too did not work out with the phone apparently being switched off.
Based on a complaint from Satish, the RGIA police have booked a kidnap case and are investigating. A team has been formed to trace her at the earliest. Footage from the surveillance cameras in the airport surroundings being examined.
