Dharamsala: National carrier Air India on Saturday started its flight operations between Chandigarh and Dharamsala.
The scheduled flight was welcomed with water cannons at Gaggal airport in Dharamsala at 10:55 am. With 20 passengers on board, the fare was Rs 3,300.
For Sunday, the fare went up to Rs. 25,000, and rest of the week it is Rs. 1,700 one way.
Overall, Air India will be operating three flights from Gaggal airport in Dharamsala — existing two flights to New Delhi and one to Chandigarh.
