Thiruvananthapuram: Air India has cut down its daily flights in the Thiruvananthapuram - Mumbai sector to three days a week from Tuesday.
The daily Air India Flight AI 668 from Thiruvananthapuram to Mumbai and Flight AI 667 from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram, will be operated only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, till January 14 next year.
A press release issued by Air India station manager Thiruvananthapuram stated that flights in Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai sector were cancelled due to operational reasons.
The flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays stand cancelled till January 14. Passengers may contact Air India toll-free number 18602331407 or 0471 2500008, 2310310 for any inquiries.
At present, SpiceJet operates two daily flights between Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai and Indigo has one daily flight in this sector. The airport users’ committee has approached the government regarding the cancellation of flights from Trivandrum Airport.
