Alliance Air to extend Nashik-Ahmedabad flight up to Kandla

Nashik: Alliance Air has decided to extend its Nashik-Ahmedabad flights up to Kandla in Gujarat from November 27. The airline, which is a subsidiary of Air India, has also started bookings for Kandla from Friday.
The Nashik-Kandla flight via Ahmedabad will be operational on all weekdays except Saturday and Sunday. The flight will take off from Ozar airport in Nashik at 8.20 am and will land at Ahmedabad at 9.35 am, from Ahmedabad, it will take off at 10.05 am and will land in Kandla at 11.10 am. The return flight from Kandla is at 11.40 am and will reach Ahmedabad at 12.45 pm and will depart at 1.15 pm to reach Nashik at 2.10 pm.

The airline will use a 70-seater aircraft and operate five days a week barring Saturday and Sunday. Around 50% of seats will be under RCS and the fare will be Rs 1,700 per head for seats under RCS said official from Alliance Air.

Presently, the airline is operating between Nashik-Ahmedabad, Nashik-Hyderabad and Nashik-Pune flights while Trujet is running the Nashik-Ahmedabad flight.
Manish Rawal, a member of the aviation committee of all industrial associations in Nashik said that it is really positive development for the city. “Kandla is one of the major ports located in Gujarat. Hence, may trade and business people visit from Nashik visit Kandla for import and export business. Hence, extending Nashik- Ahmedabad flight up to Kandla has more importance from a business point of view,” said Rawal.
