Guwahati: Coming as a huge relief to fliers in Northeast, Alliance Air has proposed to commence flight services on the Guwahati-Dimapur-Imphal-Dimapur-Guwahati sector with effect from December 7.
Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, has been awarded the route under RCS-UDAN round 3, informed a letter from Vineet Bhalla, manager (marketing) for Airline Allied Services Ltd, to executive director (RCS), AAI, New Delhi.
The flights will be operated on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and the frequency "shall be increased to daily in due course", informed the letter.
